"Lovely Place" 5 of 5 stars, value, rooms, location, cleanliness, checkin front desk, service World Traveler Now77 Washington D.C My boyfriend and I stayed at the Windwhisper for 3 nights when traveling to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. We booked the Shoshone room with a private bath. The room was very cozy with lots of native american touch (dreamcatchers kept our dreams happy) and lots of books and old music LPs. The room was spotless, bed very comfortable and soft, and bathroom huge! The owners, Terry and Audrey were very friendly and the breakfast they made for us in the morning was unforgetable-pancakes, bacon, sausage, very good coffee, orange juice, yummy eggs... We took their advice to go to the Buffalo Bistro (we were lucky as they were closed Mon, Tues, Wed) and we did not regret it! Food was excellent, (try the buffalo and boar ribs) and the beer was cold and great! The owners are very friendly! We would definitely stay at the Windwhisper again!
5 of 5 stars by bullockm1 "Stay here!" Windwhisper Cabin and Breakfast Nov 7, 2009 "Windwhisper B&B is about a half hour from Zion, and about 45 minutes from Bryce. Breakfasts were awesome, and the place was very well kept and home like. We stayed in the "Shoshone" room, but at night there is a living room with couches and a tv, plenty of resource type books for reading about the area, etc. We stayed there for 4 days of an 8 day vacation, and were so glad we didn't split up our vacation to lodge at another place. (Actually wish we had stayed here the whole 8.) The area is so beautiful, plenty to do with all the parks. (Southern Utah is one giant pretty playland.) You HAVE to go to the Buffalo Bistro in Glendale for dinner, it has terrific food and atmosphere.
5 of 5 stars- Value, Rooms, Location, Cleanliness, Service, by Dutch_Traveller_0412 The Netherlands Sept 28, 2009 "Wonderful Experience" We stayed at the Windwhisper bed and breakfast only for one night during our stay in de USA because we were traveling from Bryce to Zion. The location is just in between the two national parks so very convenient when visiting these parks. and the Grand Canyon. Because of our busy schedule and late dinner we arrived in the dark and Audrey already worried about us. We had reserved the Shoshone room which was perfect for us. It had a good bed, a private entrance, and a nice private bathroom. The room had a native american touch. Also free wireless internet was available to update our online diary, something you have to pay for in most hotels nowadays!. Van Gogh books, a radio, and music LP Cassettes provided romantic, before sleeping music in a very safe and silent enviroment. In the morning we woke up with the smell of fresh coffee, and pancakes being baked. Breakfast was at 8 in the common room of the kitchen living room together with the other guests and the very friendly Terry and Audrey. This set up is a very nice opportunity to get to know the country's people. We had some nice conversations with them. Breakfast was delicious with pancakes, sausages, eggs, coffee, orange juice, fruit and even tomatoes from their own garden! I can honestly say this was the best breakfast we had in a long time! According to the guest book, we were not the only ones' appreciating this bed and breakfast! Wish we could have stayed longer.... Conclusion: If you have the opportunity, stay at this bed and breakfast! As you can see, our guests love us as much as we love them.
